"Was a very nice property right where we wanted to be. There were six of us in town for a wedding, so bedding layout was perfect for us. Split ac's in bedrooms and in living room. Free snacks. Grocery store just around the corner. Did not us public transit or go into the city."

"The location and views were amazing! We enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets every evening, and it was so convenient to drive to the T and Ferry for easy access into Boston each day. We also loved being able to safely bike around the neighborhood and explore the area.Since this was our first time visiting, there were a few things about the waterfront that we hadn’t anticipated. I had imagined we would do more swimming, but at high tide there wasn’t really a shoreline, and at low tide there was quite a bit of algae and seaweed. My son loves to fish, so the amount of seaweed made that a little challenging. I’m sure guests who know the area may already be familiar with these conditions.The house had a wonderful, comfortable, lived-in character—it almost felt like staying at your grandma’s house for the weekend, which gave it a very homey feel. The major surfaces were clean.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the beautiful setting, incredible sunsets, and convenient location for exploring Boston."

"I was hesitant to leave this review because some of the issues we experienced may not have been entirely within the host's control. However, I feel they should be shared so they can be addressed for future guests.The house itself was spacious, spotless, and perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the three full bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The only minor complaint was the inexpensive cooking utensils.Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during our five-night stay. When we arrived around 8:30 p.m., the house was 80–85 degrees because the air conditioning had accidentally been turned off during cleaning. Although the host was apologetic, it took about three hours and several calls and texts to resolve.The next day, a circuit breaker tripped, leaving us without access to a bedroom and bathroom while 7 were getting ready for my son's rehearsal dinner. It again took multiple calls and over an hour for someone to arrive.That evening, we saw a mouse in the kitchen. Although we were told a trap had already caught one, we later found holes in our snack bags and mouse droppings on the counter. We also had a smoke detector begin sounding in the middle of the night for no apparent reason.Overall, this is a great house, but these issues created unnecessary stress during an important wedding weekend, especially for a stay costing over 3,400. I'm not looking for compensation, but I hope these concerns are addressed for future guest."
