"The house is really cool and modern, the view is breathtaking! Great location. Getting in the house was easy and house was fully stocked with everything we needed. I do wish there was an instruction book for the house though. Every other VRBO I've ever stayed at has had this and it helps answer questions especially since the host was a bit hard to get a hold of. I believe he lives remote and the time change is maybe what makes it difficult to communicate. A local manager number would have been very helpful.Cons of the house: We had a few struggles with the hot tub. The first night it got a breaker triggered that we didn't have access to and didn't work, the next two days it struggled to hold its temp. The other thing to note is that while this house is beautiful, it is not particularly safe for little kids. We appreciated the baby gate on the stairs and the toys for the kids, BUT there is a very dangerous area at the top of the outside stairs where the hot tub is where the railing does not extend and a child (or adult) could just walk out on and fall straight off the roof. We tried locking the door to this area but the deadbolt was missing and we had to put a bench in front of the door to keep the kids away from it. The other issue was the DIY Bunk beds being dangerously high without much for a railing to prevent falls. This wouldn't be a big issue for adults or teens but was scary for us with our littles."

"Beautiful views of mountains from every window. Perfect base to explore outer Anchorage areas. Host Christy was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Cabin was exactly as described and met our needs. Lower unit was noisier later at night, but earplugs were available."

"We had the MOST wonderful time during our vacation at this property! Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice — it is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The views are amazing, the location is ideal, and the overall vibe of the house was perfect.We traveled with a large group, so having three separate living areas was epic and made the stay so comfortable for everyone. We did experience a few minor plumbing issues during our stay, but they were addressed immediately, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the master bathroom was under renovation, so we were unable to use the shower/tub, but that was truly the only downside.Other than that, everything was fantastic, and we will 100% return to this property the next time we visit Girdwood/Alyeska!"

"The house was spacious and easy to check in. Hot tub was clean. There were missing window shades for windows in the one master bedroom so it was very bright and difficult to sleep. Guests are required to take trash out to a dumpster a mile away so make sure you have room in your car carry take trash bags. "
