My room has strong air conditioning (very important during summer) I was served an incredible dinner in a private room and I enjoyed a bath. I had a wonderful experience! They staff was so friendly and kind. I enjoyed many activities such as the morning service, yoga, and sutra class. The food was unique, delicious and filling. This is a great place to visit if you want to have a more authentic experience in Japan.

A very peaceful stay near the shrine in Fujinomiya. It was nice to have a genuine tatami room sleep.
If you are a big party this could be a really great place to book all rooms.
If you have accessible needs, I will say there are a number of non-uniform stair cases, unexpected changes and dropoffs throughout, but in my opinion this is to be expected in an old building like this.
If the accessibility notes arenāt a concern I would recommend this place to get a taste of quiet and more...

My favourite stay ever. The location is a little difficult to get to, but the email instructions were very clear and helpful. The design of the place is spectacular. This is a cozy, beautiful house surrounded by nature. Very clean and completely equipped. Make sure you do all your shopping before you head out; there aren't many options close by.

Itās a bit of the beaten path and not fancy but the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you get a room looking out over the lake you can see Mt Fuji from your bed if itās not hiding.

I had a great stay at megu fuji. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were very cozy and clean. On the rooftop you can see Mt . Fuji. Not far from Lake Kawaguchiko where you can also see Mt. Fuji and go shopping in the cute little town.

The hotel is lovely. The room with the Mt.Fuji view was big with a couch & chair from which we could view the mountain to our heartās content. The shower/bath was large and comfortable. The beds were firm. The room was clean. The staff was accommodating.
Fuji-Q amusement park is next door, but there was no noticeable noise in the hotel.

It was a birthday trip and they noticed it on my passport and created a sign and gift. Shouldāve read the details on the website to bring food in, but they were willing to help. Will for sure stay if ever in the area again.
