Great menu of international food

centrally located in Jepara, very good food & drinks, foreigners come from long distances to dine at Gecho, quite, wifi okay, plenty TV Channels HBO etc.

Sadly I can’t say as I never managed to get to the hotel. I asked for help and recommendations of how to get to Karimunjawa but wasn’t able to get any.

Recommended Affordable "Hotel"

Booked this hotel in May for my parents visiting my father's hometown. According to them, the toilet bowl was stinky. Other than that everything was fine and they were satisfied with the breakfast and service. They would like to stay there again for the next visit to Jepara.

Real little B&B

When I first arrived I wasn't too sure I was at the right location because you enter through the restaurant and the small reception desk is towards the back, there was a bit of a struggle to check in as their English wasn't great but it all worked out (have your Expedia confirmation printed or ready to email it to them). There are only 4 rooms or so, but they are quite big, I stayed there solo for one week (for work sourcing manufacturers) and was very comfortable. My breakfast tray came to my room each morning at my requested time which was really convenient. They gave me a taxi number for Mr Bowo who drove me around and waiting on me as I pleased and laundry service was also very reasonable, they don't have the price list or the laundry bags in the room but just ask and they will get it done for you. I would have to though one of the cons, a big one was that on my second night there was - what sounded like a child size rat in the ceiling! It was moving around for about an hour and that was the first and last time I heard it in my weeks stay. The food in the restaurant was quite good, I mostly had the salads but the sandwiches and appetizers (large portions just fyi) were also good.

Cute little spot

Friendly welcome and helpful staff. I was having some internet issues with my computer not seeing the server (hotel internet worked great) so was given the office password. Owner will arrange transport and other services. Nice restaurant attached. Food I had was delicious.
