The main reason I booked this place was for the swimming pool—but it was closed, which was extremely disappointing. On top of that, there were window repairs going on, with loud noise and workers around, leaving me with no privacy. This was not the relaxing stay I expected.

Overall, I really liked this property. If I had two negatives, they would be 1) " Only one chair in a superior-class room while there is a table for two" 2) Not that I watch much TV when I am on vacation but having only two English-speaking channels ( one of which is CNN and the is DW, a European CNN-like channel). Make sure to bring your computer and Netflix password so you can stream. Otherwise, this is a great hotel, excellent breakfast, 100 feet from Istikal Street, close to historical sites, and excellent transport, next door to a pharmacy, and near-by local stores to purchase cold drinks. Enjoy!!

We've stayed here a few times. It's nice for the money if you can find a deal. Rooms were clean but could be in better shape for a 4-star. A rewards program would be nice. Overall very good stay.

Close walking distance to everything! The busy and big shopping Main Street as well as the cute quiet quaint streets with less tourists. There was a little bit of everything here. Walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbor is an early riser you might be too. Staff were all so friendly and kind.

The Marmara Pera offers a great location in Istanbul, with easy access to Istiklal Street and the Galata Tower. The view from the hotel is beautiful, adding to the overall experience. The room was comfortable, though the bathroom was quite small, which could be a downside for some. However, overall, it was a pleasant stay, and the area is vibrant and full of things to explore.

The hotel is in the best location of Istanbul perfect place to reach any thing you wish for !!! The hotel staff are amazing very friendly, helpful, great team .The rooms are very clean they clean them every day , so is whole the hotel . I had a suite with fantastic 180 degree views of all that matters in Istanbul. However, lighting was very poor, bathroom was impractical i.e. no shower curtain, the sink was too cramped, drain was clogged. Internet was intermittent, coffee machine partially worked and the staff, though friendly and pleasant , had very poor command over English and forgetful, one had to remind them again and again for same request for coffee pods or water in the room. Over all hotel has aged and needs major renovation and staff training.

By far one of my absolute favorite hotels in Istanbul. Amazing view from the rooms, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff and a stone's throw from Istiklala cadesi! Strong recommendation!
