I have stayed in this hotel perhaps 10 to 15 times since 1998. It was my favorite place in Istanbul. Its location is stunning, right on the corner of the Hippodrome, a short block from the Blue Mosque and so much more. The staff is friendly and helpful, though the level of English much less now than before. The rooms are small but comfortable.

The hotel was in a perfect location diagonally across the blue mosque. You were able to catch a taxi if needed as taxi's were constantly dropping off other tourists. The room was tidied daily however it didn't seem to be vacuumed. The room seemed small but fine for sleeping as out during the day. The location to the major tourist attractions was perfect, not far to walk to them. There are alot of eating places around the hotel and not too far to pharmacies or other shops. The staff were great, always asking if we needed anything and arranged transfer to the airport on request.
