Отличный компактный отель с выходом окон на море, немного шумновато вечером. Добрый и отзывчивый персонал. В душе все новенькое, хорошая лейка. Завтрак так себе, тарелка с яйцом, ветчиной, сыром и овощами. Мюсли, чай, кофе, булочки. Из горячего был омлет один раз за 3 дня.

We arrived at the hotel around 4-5 noon. When we arrived the hotel, we didn't receive a warm welcome. It could be the painful day of the reception. Everythink was standart. Cleanliness and room comfort are good. Attention is paid to pandemic conditions. Location is close to everywhere.

The best value for money you will find anywhere in Istanbul. A homely and clean hotel with a roof terrace offering a beautiful panorama of the bosphorus. While this hotel may be a hidden gem tucked away in the centre of Sultanahmet, what makes this place truly precious is its warm and dedicated owner Mehmet. Never before in all my travels have I met anyone that has gone as far as he has to ensure that my short stay in Istanbul was all that I could have hoped for. If you're planning on visiting this wonderful city you need not look any further!

Affordable,clean and close proximity to tram

I stayed for 10 Nights single room.The rooms always smells fresh and clean whenever they done housekeeping.Breakfast was okay ,and my room was on the first floor and has windows and you can hear street noise when you try to sleep. But for me it was okay and used to it but if you type of person want a bit less noise, try to take up rooms that are not facing the main road or request top floors.Overall I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great cozy hotel in walking distance to everything

I had a great experience with the Coliseum hotel. Hotel representatives ( special thanks to Mehmet - he is extremely helpful ) had taken care about me like about a relative. All transfers were organized quickly and on the best manner.( I also visited a Turkish Bath Hamam with a transfer from my hotel). I had 2 different stays in 2 different rooms - my transit stays were with no stress. Rooms were clean, with great view on Bosphorus, check ins and check out were quick. My rooms had a fast internet connection. A breakfast is a huge plus. And ...location, location, location - walk to everything -The Blue Mosque, Little Hagia Sophia, Marmara Universitesi.

Great value for the money.

This pension in the Sultanhamet district of Istanbul offers close proximity to all the mosques and Ottoman historical areas. While rooms are small, they are impeccably clean, with modern bathrooms, and plenty of hot water. The top floor terrace is especially nice, offering fantastic views of the district whilst sitting under umbrella covered tables/chairs. The staff were cheerful and chatty - even when unable to speak English - and nothing was a problem. The manager was very patient and helpful with my many inquires - of which I had many - as an older woman travelling solo. With his help I was able to navigate the Turkish transit system, visiting places I would not otherwise have seen. Great value for the money.

Absolutely fantastic, marvelous

My greetings to the Hotel Manager and Yusuf. very friendly and helpful. They have good knowledge of the city. They assist in ensuring that the visitors experience the city safely and share what areas and what kind of people to avoid. My flight on the day of the departure was very early, but they made sure that they had my breakfast plate ready before I left. They assisted in getting a taxi to the airport. They recommended where to eat and where not to. Plenty of things to do around the hotel. Fantastic location. Close to everything that the city has to offer. A must place to stay. I liked this place so much, I requested a room after my short trip to Izmir, and they worked a good deal for me. Best place to stay due to its people, its location and friendliness.

Great hotel close "to the heart of things".

My sisters and I were treated like family. The staff was always willing to assist us with whatever we asked or needed. They also helped us with transportation from and to the airport. Breakfast was phenomenal and delicious, beyond the typical continental or European breakfast. I would highly recommend it to my family and friends or to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Istanbul.

Perfect location and incredible hospitality!

This was a wonderful hotel in the perfect location, with many of the main Istanbul sights in the old part of the city within a short walk. The hotel is beautifully maintained, especially given the building's age. The owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable and we enjoyed chatting with him and hearing his great tips on where to visit in Turkey. The room was a tad small, but that is to be expected in a building of that age. The breakfast that was included was very good and there was a beautiful rooftop terrace with great views of the city and harbor.

Hôtel sympathique et très bien tenu

Petit hôtel agréable, proche des lieux touristiques avec un personnel aux petits soins. La petite chambre avec vue sur la mer de Marmara est très propre et coquette. Seul bémol, l'option transfert aéroport, proposée à 25 euros aller-retour sur le site Expedia mais facturée 50 euros pour un service médiocre avec une attente anormalement longue à l'aéroport à l'aller. Au retour, c'était bien. L'hôtel Coliseum est une excellente option pour passer un agréable séjour à Istanbul sans se ruiner, mais je ne conseille pas l'option transfert aéroport.
