Lovely stay. Recommended. Good value.

Lovely hotel and wonderful service. Room is basic but immaculate, pool area is inviting with nice view. Breakfast is worth getting. We enjoyed our time and the welcome of the family. The bus stops outside the door every 20 minutes but also walkable to the port and town.

Amazing Hosts

From the minuet we arrived the owners Was outstanding! Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They greeted us with recommendations, a map an very good explanations for the buses to each area. I couldn’t thank them enough. Within the hour we was off to their recommendation of Pathos, an outstanding view and sunset, with an infinity pool, bar an restaurant! The rooms was very spacious, secure and clean! Fresh towels everyday, with the room cleaned also. The breakfast was your topical Continental breakfast, with a very good choice of fresh fruit ! And amazing Jams to go with the selections of breads. Try the peach or cherry jam! Pool area is very beautiful and large, with a nice bar and snack area, playing a good selection of easy music. Location was perfect, bus stop outside, less then ten minuets walk down to the port, with plenty’s of restaurants and shops around. And 15 or so minuets walk up to the Village, or just jump on the bus. A must visit restaurant at the port is ‘Thai me up’ I have never tasted food so fresh an absolutely full of flavour! We couldn’t get enough of it! Better food then iv ever eaten before ! An Iv been to Thailand it’s self! I would highly recommend this hotel to all people, families, friends couples. Great value for money! Thank you so much for a great stay!

Half way between port and village with bus stop right outside Beautiful pool area with great bar. Really friendly staff. Will be coming back soon as we can.

A great Ios hotel !

Beautiful family run hotel. Pick up service from the Port was a great bonus. Beautiful large pool well maintained area with pool bar that made great breakfasts and lunches. Room were newly renovated large and modern with all amenities needed. The cleaning staff friendly, attentive and did a great job. Antonia was lovely & very helpful with recommendations for travel ideas. Close to port and bus stop would highly recommend.

A must stay

Where to start? The staff are amazing from the booking through to departure and couldn’t do enough for us as a large group. The pool and bar are beautiful and a great way to start and end you day. It’s a bit of a hike up the hill to Chora but the port had plenty just a stroll down the hill. Buses run from outside the hotel to Chora frequently where you can get your party and shopping fixes well and truly satisfied. The rooms are spacious, clean and all you need including a safe, fridge, tv and large bathroom. There is also the security of an ever present night guard to keep the peace. Vangelis arranges all pickups and drop offs for transfers which takes the guesswork out of logistics. This is one of the best holiday villas I have ever been to and it comes highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff who really made this visit for us.

Beautiful hotel and location

This was our favorite hotel that we stayed in during our recent trip to Greece. I wish we had more than one night there. The hotel is a short walk to either the port or the main town but they gave us complimentary transport to the port for our pick up and dropped us off at the port beach on our departure. The room was very spacious and had a lovely view of the hills and sea. The owner's took time to show us around and explained locations on maps. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone. There was also a nice pool. Location was ideal and in a quiet area. Thank you!

Buona posizione e staff cordiale

Struttura a conduzione familiare. Sono gentili e disponibili, consiglio di scrivergli qualche giorno prima dell'arrivo per essere accompagnati dal porto all'hotel. L'unico disagio è stato l'overbooking che non ci ha permetto di dormire nella nostra stanza la prima sera. Comunque si sono dimostrati ben organizzati e ci hanno riservato una stanza in un hotel a 500 mt dall'homer's Inn e per scusarci ci hanno offerto la colazione il giorno seguente. La terrazza per la colazione è piacevole ma credo che sia troppo costosa per quello che offrono. La posizione è ottima poiché è a pochi km dalla chora e dal porto. È vicino a tutte le spiagge più belle ad eccezione della migliore dell'isola, Manganari che si trova a 28 km. molto comodo il parcheggio. Siamo capitati in una della stanza più "moderne": pulita, fornita di phon, cassaforte è piccolo frigo ed ogni giorno hanno cambiato asciugamani e lenzuola. Non siamo mai stati nella piscina per nostra volontà, nonostante fosse grande è sicuramente piacevole. Lo consiglio!

Smart stop

We used this as a stop over before island hoping after a long fly in from South Africa. Nice pool and very close to the Acropolis and resturants. We walked from the hotel and it was a quick ride in a taxi to the port.

We chose Homer's Inn because it was between Chora where all the nightlife is, and the port, which has some nice restaurants and cafeteria's. The Fourno (bakery) there is especially good. It is easy to walk to both. The rooms are clean but basic. The service is very good, and all our needs were quickly taken care of. The breakfast is good and the staff are all friendly.

Despite it being one of the smallest rooms I've stayed in, the customer service at Homer's Inn Hotel was the best of my stays in Greece. From being picked up at the port, everyone was very welcoming, friendly and didn't make you feel like they were doing you a favour. They were very helpful in helping me organise a canoeing/snorkelling safari which I highly recommend. It's very well located near the port, the public bus stop is right outside and it's also close to the main village. The pool area is one of the best with a bar (which plays good tunes) and lots of areas to chill in and out of the sun. I would highly recommend Homer's Inn.

Really recomend this place!

Such a nice place! Very cosy hotel between the port and Chora. Perfect bus connection just outside.You cant get a better Place for that small price. The owners are so friendly and service minded, really recomend Homers Inn!
