"Absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived at Hotel Engel in Emmetten, the staff went above and beyond—helping with laundry, offering brilliant touring tips, and solving our transportation challenges. Every meal was a culinary delight, and the hospitality was unmatched. Warm, professional, and genuinely caring, the team made our stay unforgettable, especially the Owner! "Pros:
The staff was very friendly, especially, Jamie, who served breakfast each morning during our stay. We got there at 12pm and they allowed us to check in early, which was helpful.
The hotel is easily by public transportation.
The included breakfast was great.
Cons:
There is no AC in the rooms, only tower fans so may not be ideal during summer months. We had booked a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). For the kids, they provided a bunk bed. Because of the this, the person sleeping on the...
