Service was 5 star, absolutely. They picked me up at the airport and drove me back to the airport - that was a very nice service. The reason I lowered the rating was the location - definitely a slightly sketchy area. Maybe all of Male is like this but I didn't feel overly comfortable about going outside. Hotel was very small, quaint but small. Room was clean but again very small and my hot water didn't work so after a 30 hour travel - I couldn't take a shower. It was just a stop over to get to a resort in the Maldives and for that it was a fine place to stay overall. Again, the service - top notch.

The stay was very Good overall except for the Breakfast Cook was very non obliging arrogant and Not Responsive. We just wanted an alternate egg style. The Sri Lankan chef on the other hand was very Good. Please improve the Breakfast and get rid of that lazy chef and we will refer you more business

From prior to arrival, arrival to departure, their service has been excellent! It was easy to communicate with them in English on flight arrival, your resort communicates with Starry Beach and they will give you a wake up call and also arrange the transportation back to the airport for your seaplane check-in. The room is clean, shower is a wet bathroom which is common in Asia. Service is top-notch and they will help you as much as they can! If I am to stay in Male, I will go back to this property!

We booked a package that includes airport shuttle and breakfast. We got to Male late around 10PM and is staying one night before we transit to our actual resort for holiday. We were suppose to call 24 hours in advance to arrange the airport shuttle… which we forgot to do. We called the hotel from the information help desk at Male airport and is happy to hear that the hotel is sending a driver to pick us up. We met up with our driver after a 40 minutes wait and got to the hotel safely. We were given a room on the 1st floor which require us to climb 2 sets of stairs. Our room use traditional keys that are hard to insert and turn. Once we are able to get in, the room is not exactly the same as we saw through the pictures. Room is small as expected but we can smell the toilet upon entering the room. Visually the room look ok… but the smell is hard to get over and made us question the cleanliness. Once we entered the bathroom, we found cockroach running around on the wall. This is when we know we should of made a better choice. We stayed one night anyway as it’s late and we are leaving the next morning. We managed to sleep as we are pretty tired from our travels. We got up early the next day morning and found our ocean view room obstructed with lots of garbage and trees. We headed to the cafe next door for an average breakfast. After breakfast, we arranged a ride back to the airport. Overall, service is good. But not everything else. I will not re-visit.

Our transport to the islands was the next day and Point Inn was a great place to adjust to the time change and get to know a bit about Maldives.

This property is a cheap & not very cheerful one night only hotel, the staff couldn’t be any friendlier but this place is in need of some TLC & air fresheners the room we stayed in was very tired & had a horrible smell, paint was falling off the walls near the air con unit, there’s a fridge in the room which was more of an oven not sure what’s it’s purpose was

This Inn is an excellent value for money place to stay in the Maldives. The check in was excellent with a welcoming cool fruit drink and very freindly efficient staff The room i was in had beach view and wes very commfy fair size and good facilities in both the room and shower room. This was well maintained throu my whole visit. the roof top sundeck was good but needs more sunbathing facilities , however i was out of season and the facilities were adequate for me. Food was the only Point i could fault it is of reasonable quality and well cooked.the range of dishes avalible was the only fault and as i was staying for 10 nights it became limited for choice. The staff realy make the hotel very homley ,they are fun efficient and happy to talk and answer your questions, deffo an asset to the Inn. the area around the Inn has excellent range of activites to keep you busy and the cafes around are good value and quality. Over all and excellent breakaway and chilled out Inn Would recomend this for anyone going to Maldives and not keen on big resort hotels. A great find and value Inn

Basic room with a nice seaview and friendly staff

Very nice room facing the waterfront and near many restaurants to enjoy the area. The ferry terminal to Male is only about a 15-minute walk away while the airport is less than 10-minute drive away. We picked this hotel since it offers complimentary airport shuttle service. We requested for it when we made our reservation on hotels.com website, but fortunately we called that same day before we boarded our flight since the woman who amswered the call didn't seem to know that we needed airport pickup. She told us that the driver would have a sign with our name, but we couldn't find him at all and had to go to the Information Desk at the airport to use their phone to call the hotel. The same woman answered and said the driver is already there. We walked around again and finally spotted a guy with the Point Inn sign but without our name on it. We shared the ride with another couple who probably arrived at the same time. Breakfast was toast, butter, jam, fried egg, 1 sausage, and a glass of probably packaged juice every morning for all 3 nights we were there. The staff were friendly but other than the woman who works the afternoon to evening shift the men who worked there spoke and understood little English. There is no elevator so you need to be able to walk upstairs for your room. The room is basic and they don't provide housekeeping service during your stay but you can request for fresh towels etc. The safe and the TV didn't work, but overall it was a very good stay.

とても良いホテルでした。 エレベーターがなかったのですが、部屋まで荷物を運んでくれたスタッフの方が親切で丁寧でとても良かったです。 部屋の設備も清潔でシャワーの温度調節がしやすいのと、ドライヤーが新しくて風量があって良かったです。 シャワーブースと洗面所とトイレは全部繋がっていて仕切りはありません。 日本人は慣れないスタイルのシャワールームでしたが、綺麗で掃除も行き届いていました。 目の前が海で少し歩くと飲食店やスーパーもあります。 短い滞在でしたが快適に過ごせました。 ありがとうございます。

This place was centrally located, near shops and restaurants. Room was small but comfortable. You don't get daily cleaning in this hotel and room was only cleaned once during my 15 day stay? I wouldnt recommend this for a long stay but somewhere to put your head for 3-4 nights max

Nice guesthouse at beachfront with good restaurant and some other restaurants/cafes in short walking distance as well. We used it for one overnight stay and would return for same purpose - very good value for money.

Not recommended, poor hygienic conditions

Only OK to consider for an overnight stay pending the seaplane transfer to the islands. Hygienic conditions are poor, I got bitten by loads of bed bugs during my sleep for just six hours, bites were everywhere over my arms, shoulders, legs and fingers. Service was OK, and they included complimentary Airport transfer for me. Having said that, I would consider elsewhere for an overnight stay in Male on the next holiday occasion.
