"Stayed 2 nights. Would not recommend.
Issues:
- Room was damp and had strange odor.
- The small college fridge also had a strange smell to it.
- Found small bugs and centipedes on Bathroom floor.
- Several noticeable mouse/rodent traps were on floor in bathroom and bedroom.
- Pool was closed. (Not disclosed). The Pool Cover was still on the pool and the pool deck/area was overgrown with weeds (so it’s been closed for a while)
- Mattresses on the beds were uncomfortable.
- Ice machine in office...
"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there.
I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite.
