"We stayed 2 nights. This hotel is amazing for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I am from the US but I noticed most of the guests were (probably) from Taiwan, which makes me feel like it’s a highly popular getaway for citizens. They do have many activities, though staff told us that many of the activities may not be guided in English very much; that was okay with us. "The owner knows the history of Taiwan and the area. He is a wonderful person to meet. The place is so well put together. It even includes a pond with large koin carp (goldfish). The breakfast is very good. There are bicycles to ride should you so wish. We chose to ride! "
