"We were staying the night for a family wedding locally the next day. The room was OK but stayed in better Holiday Inn Express hotels. We always seems to have an issue trying to sort the air conditioning out which was too cold even though it was hot outside. As usual we always have to hunt for our glasses! to deal with the settings. We decided to eat a meal in the evening where breakfast is served. It’s not a very nice room & the menu didn’t offer much choice! It was just ok having just driven from Paignton! we were too tired to go out. When we checked in the lady on reception was very nice and helpful"

"A lovely hotel and the staff were welcoming. This was a quiet break for myself and my soon to be married daughter. The room was lovely though the view was of the roof which was a shame and not of the beautiful scenery but we needed a rest so wasn’t too concerned. There was a good selection for hot drinks and complimentary biscuits and water which was a nice touch. The food is absolutely first class especially the Sunday Roast! Top marks to the chef and staff who were so friendly. Only one complaint was an odour in our room which the cleaner kindly tried to get rid of but it lingered and a few spiders. We were only there for a short break so didn’t make a fuss. Definitely will recommend ones to visit and definitely will stay again. Thank you."
