"The staff was outstanding, Our assigned room had a clogged sink. I called front desk,The girl said she'd send someone over and I'm thinking "we'll see". About five minutes later Joaquin knocks on the door. About ten minutes later he had figured out that this was not a three minute project to be solved with a plunger, this was an actual problem. His quitting time had come and gone already but he cheerfully arranged another room for us and helped shuffle our stuff into a better room. All is well, we are all settled into the room at the very end of the second tier of rooms. I decided to move the car to the bottom of the staircase that was right by the new room. It's a miracle there is an open parking space second one from stairs, I repark the car hop out to go upstairs (as fast as an 80 year old man can hop) and discover that the stairs are blocked by a big plywood gate with sign saying "closed for repairs". I'm still trying to figure out whether to be thankful for the better room or upset about being shipped off to the end of the looong looong row of rooms. Also don't know why housekeeping didn't discover the sink problem, but came away with a memory."

"It was great stay. The kids 3 and 6 loved the pool and watching the action on the river. There’s a nice river walk right outside the door. The restaurant is excellent and such a beautiful view."

"Nice hotel. Great pool and spa. The lady that helped us with breakfast was very nice. The rest of the staff at front desk not very helpful. The night and morning ladies not very good. The waitress at the restaurant was ok. Not so friendly. We tried a wine that was old and awful and she did not really care. The plum salad with burrata was delicious."

"It's a lovely large yard that is beautifully landscaped. The room overlooks the Columbia River with views of Mount Adams. The family hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We spent five relaxing days there and would come back again. Good wi-fi connection."
