Our VRBO had 180 degree views of the backwater and intercoastal waterways (unit is waterfront with no blocked views) with stunning sunsets. Both decks and all of the bedrooms had water views. The elevator made luggage and food handling easy and the unit was only a couple of minute walk to the beach. At the time of year we went , beaches were almost empty and no waits at the many local restaurants

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would suggest taking another look at your description of the property. Specifically, it says that there are 1.5 baths total when there are actually 2 full baths on the 2nd floor and a half bath on the top floor.Thanks for letting us stay.

Beautiful views and sunsets. Comfortable and nicely decorated. Lots of windows and natural light. Elevator is so helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The Best time

If you are looking for a great relaxing time this is the place. So cozy inside. Makes your home away from home relaxing! From views, fishing, the pool, and beach we had it all! A gated community with some of the friendliest people! We traveled with 5 kids 10-14 and they had PLENTY to do. Basketball court a, playground. This is an amazing place and the host are amazing as well! 10/10 recommend!

What an awesome vacation!

The updated interior was gorgeous. Weather was perfect with absolutely breathtaking sunsets.Something to check - the ceiling fan in the bunk room does not work. The wooden elevator door on the ground level sometimes does not want to open. Have to work at it to get it open. And a set of steak knives would be great in the kitchen. Otherwise, we'll see Let's Do Sunset next year!!!

Beautiful house in the perfect location

The house was immaculate and decorated beautifully. Well stocked kitchen and the Queen’s Grant neighborhood offered many amenities. Will definitely stay here again!

Enjoy our stay and my husband loved fishing from the back yard.

He also appreciated the elevator because of arthritis in his knee. He got a much needed break for a week while he enjoyed fishing. Thank you for your help also when needed.

Repeat visit - best views!

This is our second time staying at this house and it’s great. The views are incredible and it’s so perfect with kids to have the pool and beach within walking distance.

Enjoy the view of the sound

We fished in the sound. Rented kayaks and went to the sandbar in the sound. We saw dolphins about everyday in the sound. We loved having an elevator in the house too. It was a good week at this house.

DO NOT book with Alana.

I booked and paid for this beach place 6 months in advance for a week family vacation and we were all so excited only to show up with someone already renting this place for a week. To our surprise we literally walked in (with our kids) on folks staying to there that were halfway clothed!! Alana had just gave us the door code the day before after I had to ask for it. After calling Alana (the owner who I had been in contact with the whole booking) she informed me of a terrible mistake and another family had the place for the same week as us! She offered for us to stay in duplex next door that she thought was similar minus a few beds and in return she would refund us some money. Family was so upset and we were not about to get in the car with all our stuff and drive home so we stayed. This place did not have the same view, there was less amenities, the grill was so trashed you would never cook on it and there were roaches in the shower. To make matters worse when I text Alana to ask about how she wanted to handle refund I got nothing back. This was our first week vacation on the beach and Alana ruined it then did not keep her word about refunding us money after not having the place we booked so far in advance available for us.

Beach Vacation

This house has a spacious kitchen and great views! We loved how close the house was to the beach and pool! Unfortunately, the hot tub was not in use. The house was very clean but could use some updated furnishings and furniture.

Greater potential!

The view is simply stellar but there are things that need attention like a good deep cleaning, replace old/stained toilets and toilet seats, upgrade kitchen items also need a couple real cutting boards, measuring cups/spoons and more glassware. Appreciated having plenty of empty cabinets and pantry for our stuff. Really enjoyed being out on the decks and the spacious living area and comfortable beds/bedding. The elevator was a big plus for loading in and out.

Amazing location!

Amazing location on the sound and very close proximity to Topsail Beach. We saw dolphins both in the sound and from the beach! If you are looking for the most relaxing beach vacation spot then this is it!

Nice house great sunsets

The house was very nice. When we walked in, it smelt like a fish fry restaurant. We thought it could have be cleaned (smelled) better upon arrival. The kitchen was left unkept with the sink and oven still dirty. These were the only complaints, not enough to spoil anything. Overall, very nice place .

Lets do sunset

Very relaxing. Did see the dolphins. Easy layout of the house. Looking forward to making this a yearly trip. Would highly recommend to anybody. Communication with the host was exceptional.

Gorgeous Sunsets!

Great week at Topsail! We saw dolphins everyday and gorgeous sunsets! Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Great experience

'Let's do Sunset' was a great place to stay! Alana was very kind and promptly addressed any needs we had. The elevator was a blessing and a huge help bringing all our gear to the upper levels! We enjoyed fishing, crabbing and swimming (we were pleasantly surprised to see the pool was still open). The beach was beautiful! We saw dolphins almost every morning from the deck. The weather didn't always cooperate, but there are lots of indoor things to explore in the area. I highly recommend 'Let's do Sunset'. Alana, thank you again for all youe help!

Great stay at the beach

Our family enjoyed our stay here very much. Access to the beach was easy, the pool was a nice option and the views from the house were fantastic. Our boys enjoyed watching and waving to all the boat traffic.

Perfect location and views

We have been going to Topsail for many years, so we were very familiar with this location and chose it specifically because of the beautiful views of the sound, the proximity to the beach and access to a pool and easy access to shops and restaurants in Topsail and Surf City. The views from this house were incredible. We saw dolphins, we fished, we enjoyed amazing sunsets. The house had definitely been cleaned prior to us coming, but there was wear and tear on a lot of the furnishings and not everything was wiped down very thoroughly. We rented linens and that process was very smooth and a lot easier than trying to cart everything from home. We enjoy cooking and wish that the kitchen had been a little better appointed… For example, there was no cutting board to be found, and no colander. All that said, those were minimal complaints for what was a wonderful house with incredible views, and things that are easily remedied. The owner was very responsive whenever we reached out with a request. We would definitely stay here again.
