"A beautiful ancient building dating back to medieval times and with associations with historical events.
Parking at a public car park some 500 metres away- free from 9-10 am with ticket but you have to pay after that.
A basic continental breakfast is provided and tea and coffee in the room.
Very close to beaches in Bude.
We enjoyed our stay but must confess en suite facilities and a TV in the room would have made it better.

"The chef was extremely helpful and cooked my evening meal early, so that I could go out. Unfortunately, there were no decaf drinks; they didn't think it necessary.

"Unfinished building site next door was an eyesore and at check in we were in a 2 bed not a 3 bed apartment so the initial impression wasn't great. However we got moved to a 3 bed with a lovely view from the substantial balcony. Good location for local facilities and free parking. Apartment had everything we needed."
