This hotel was built 200 years ago but it is so well maintained. The view of mountains behind it is amazing. Very good and cozy place to stay near acadia national park. Although the hotel is around 60 mins away from the park hotspots but commute is easy. The staff is very friendly too.

For us this was a unique place. Seems family owned . Location is amazing and stay was comfortable. They had fireplace (Which was new for me) . View outside the window was better than watching tv …overall satisfied

Made a mistake booking family rooms up 2 flights with no elevator. Made it but for 80 years olds was not as pleasant. Place is picturesque and food was adequate. One bed too soft; other fine;all in all was good but not excellent and quite a drive everyday to park and Bar Harbor. However, we loved Maine and everything we did! A fabulous time had by all 3 of us!

Classic New England inn that was a delightful find! Dog friendly options were a bit limited but it suited us just fine. Staff we kind and helpful when we checked in. Would definitely stay again if the calendars could align better!

The hotel has a nice location near a lake that's spacious with places to walk around. We didn't get to walk to the lake, but the room had a balcony with a nice view. The stay was relaxing, and the staff was very friendly. The dining area in the main building was large with a lot of tables. The breakfast had nice house made pastries. We would have liked more hot breakfast options, but overall it was good.

I have stayed at the Lucerne multiple times now and each time has been enjoyable! The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel has great character. The food is pretty solid and the value is amazing.

A wonderful, quiet place just a couple of miles north of Acadia NP and not just a paradise for golfers. Unfortunately, their restaurant is closed on Mondays, but the staff at reception gave us a couple of useful hints. Breakfast was amazing and the view from the deck is breathtaking! Will be back on our next visit!
