Older hotel with pretty small rooms but very close to the piece Park and lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very patient and helpful staff members, Gold standard! Many perks to staying in Dormy Inn such as the Onsen, free ramen supper, coffee/juice and shuttle service to JR Station. Room is decent, clean and more spacious compared to other Japanese hotels I've been to.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, and explained things to us in English. The hotel is a bit dated but the room was one of the most functional I have stayed in. It was spacious, well partioned and had the things I needed. Dormy Inn provided a free jelly snack in the fridge, a nice personal touch. You can drink free lemonade in the lobby. At night there is free ramen from 930-1130. There is free Yakult type drink at the hot spring in the morning and free ice blocks at night. Highly recommend their buffet breakfast which includes local specialities like eel rice and deep fried oysters. There is also a free shuttle you can book to take you to Hiroshima station in the morning. With so much bonus stuff and good service it didn't matter the hotel was dated. I truly enjoyed my stay.

The Dormy Inn is right off of Peace Blvd in Hiroshima. It is walking distance to the A-Bomb Dome and Museum. The streetcar stop is 1 block away.

room was great, with one exception. we were a party of three that they put into adjacent rooms. But they gave the two people the slightly smaller room... Others have complained about the size of the rorms. rooms are small, but pretty standard for Japan. Dormy inn has other reasons to stay, like complementary snacks outside the Onsen (ramen in the evenings, icecream and yoghurt in the mornings). their "coin washers" are free, dryers take coins. Hotel is close to the places that people want to see, like the Peace Museum. We walked everywhere.

Everything was great until you entered your room. Pillows were hard as was the bed against a wall. Bathroom was modular and you had a 10” step to get in.
