"Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. "The hotel is a little tired. There was no soap in the ensuite, but the staff were excellent. A minor point but the road was closed and there was no parking (ahead of Airbourne) so there was parking available foc with a permit on the local streets and they could have advised this ahead of time to manage uncertainties on arrival. They also advertise they want well dressed diners in the restaurants which is both offputting and not really true!"
