This was a great place to stay location-wise. Clean, comfortable room and nice staff. Will note that they charge for coffee and a hot water kettle for the room.
The hotel is close to the train and bus station and also Kampii shopping centre. I only stayed there for three nights. The breakfast had a nice variation of hot and cold choices.
It was also well located for the sights of Helskinki. I would definitely choose to stay there again if I visit Helskinki. I have to say Marcus who checked me in was very helpful
My wife and I had a short stay over in Helsinki, and this hotel was perfect! The location is unbeatable with access to the main train station, downtown, and a lot of food options within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself was very clean, and comfortable. The sauna was amazing, and you have to make time for it. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.
Very central location in Helsinki. Staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean.

One of the bathroom instruments was broken and could not be replaced until we brought it to the front desk. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant. Reasonable price for the location.
I've had the privilege of staying here on several occasions now and I have always found the staff extremely welcoming and helpful. My room was very clean, spacious and I got a wonderful night's sleep. I found breakfast to be a very enjoyable experience, a great selection of choice to suit most guests tastes. The actual location was superb, close to the shopping mall, restaurants and all the attractions of Helsinki only a few minutes walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Helsinki. I'm already looking forward to my return very soon. Thanks Scandic and all your staff for always making my stay enjoyable and memorable....your my home from home! Warmest wishes from Scotland
Love the location. You can visit quite a few major attractions on foot…or by a public transportation.
The room has ample space and good accessibility.
Great breakfast but a strange IT issue between Expedia and the hotel system on whether breakfast is included or not, which caused staff more work and customer confusion.
Room was clean. Staff offered me an upgrade when I checked in which I took as I was there for a week.
Breakfast had some good vegan options.
If you take the lift down to 2B you’re conveniently in Kamppi shopping centre which is very handy.
Good things: the hotel was very central and had a tram stop right in front. The facilities were beautiful and the breakfast was outstanding. I was happy to see plenty of vegetarian options, and most foods being lactose free.
Less good: it became very complicated with the breakfast booking as the personnel made several mistakes when charging it. Also the bathroom cleanliness could be improved. Some tiles were moldy and the bathroom door had several spots.
The hotel is convenient for the train station as well as walking distance to some interesting sites of Helsinki.
Great staff throughout - check-in, bar, breakfast and chedk-out.
Room was comfortable.
I booked this hotel cos of it location. It is connected few shopping mall, metro and even the famous Kamppi Church. and tram stop in front hotel that go to old market. The room was great too. Really like this hotel, will stay again if back to Helsinki

Staff was ok-had some communication issues!
Very central location
Hotel was very close to the train station which was convenient and tram station stop directly outside the front of the hotel which is good for getting around during the day.....not so good if you are trying to sleep. It was very warm in the room so had to sleep with window open until the noise either from drunks out or trams noise became too much. Sauna was available on lower lever but only at certain times, only found this out from reviews online not from staff. It's very close to the bus station which is good as lots of shops and supermarkets but be warned we were followed a few times so keep you valuables close keep your eyes peeled. The area around the hotel didn't feel safe at times I'm afraid to say.
The hotel has direct access ( by private elevator) to the metro, bus, etc as well as to a shopping center. The neighborhood is nice. The breakfast was good. Everything was great.
Great modern hotel close to Helsinki Central Station. Only about a 5-6 minute walk. Lots of things and dining options around. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
