All was great! Check in and check out was smooth. The single room was perfect even w/o a fridge. Nice location right next to the ferry terminal 👍. The area was nice, quiet and the laundry was Very Good 😊
I have stayed here too many times to count over the years visiting and working in Finland. It is pretty much the only affordable option in town and while it is not the Ritz it is well maintained and has a very friendly staff. The Sauna is the really perk of staying here. They also have laundry. If you are traveling by ferry on the Viking Line it is a perfect location very close to the terminal. Tram stop right around the corner that can easily take you to the city center and beyond. But all that is walkable too. Kiitos as always!
I only stayed one night, but I would would gladly stay here again. The people at reception were friendly and helpful. One woman suggested I visit the island Suomenlilla and showed me exactly how to get to the ferry and go there. It turned out to be a delightful excursion that I wouldn't have done on my own. Also when I needed directions to get to my boat , they provided excellent information The room was comfortable with nice amenities, like a reading lamp, chargers next to bed and closet space. Perfect location if you are going to catch a Viking cruise ship. Only a two minute walk!
Great place with very good location and brilliant value for money. The rooms were just fine and the same goes for the common toilets and bathrooms. We could check in early for free which was awesome!
The Eurohostel is a convenient and inexpensive place to stay in Helsinki. The rooms are bare bones but clean with comfortable beds. I stayed in one of the upgraded rooms with new cabinets and a TV. If you can deal with having to walk a few steps to the bathrooms in the hallway, this is a good place to stay.
Very neat room for the affordable price. Also it includes self-service kitchen in each floor and a sauna which is included in the room rent for morning slots 07:00-10:00 hrs. Very close to the center and 1 min walk from the nearest tram station.
Great 24x7 reception staff, building in excellent condition, 3 kitchens, no rooms have private bathrooms regardless of what Hotels.com says. Nice saunas (free in the morning), inexpensive laundry facility, elevator, rooms are quiet.
Super friendly staff, clean toilets, hot showers… i think i got more than i paid for. Walls are not soundproof though so u might want to keep the noise down during quiet times. But our neighbour did not have the courtesy to have it. Highly recommended
Very great price
Good location near to Helsinki ferry terminal
fast free wifi
quiet but central location very walkable to city centre and central railway station
Well presented and very clean
Overall a good choice for short-term stay in Helsinki. The staff was super friendly and offer some good services like luggage storage, and I also went to a bingo night event which was really fun! The basics were all fine too, Wi-Fi, beds, TV, etc were all perfectly functional. I didn't love the shared bathrooms, obviously it is not totally in their control how people use them but just some basic things like some kinda lock on the shower, or having paper towels instead of hand dryers would have improved it. Can't say I was unhappy with it though, as far as hostels go it is adequately satisfying.
