"Beautiful and peaceful property. Everything was just as pictured. Cabin was nostalgic with its wood ceilings, beautiful screen porch, and up north decor. Host was easy to communicate with and helpful with questions that came up and even greeted us upon arrival. Lake was calm and not as busy as expected for a holiday weekend. Being in a bay made docking our boat easy. Was just the place we needed to unwind for a few days. (unrelated to property specific - Just a note about the public boat launch location - water was unseasonably low due to lack of rain - it's a steep launch - wasn't impossible but was challenging.)"

"The high number of stars for this hotel must be due to the location. And what a location it is! A beautiful deck overlooking Lake Nokomis, a fire pit, and beach along the shore. Absolutely beautiful. However, the rooms themselves were fairly old and tired, although perfectly adequate. The bedspreads were frayed, the mattresses - though comfortable - sagged, and the toilets were so close to the floor that my 80-something mother had a hard time using it. There were also a lot of cracked tiles in the bathroom. But all in all it was a great place to stay and to be right on the lake was idyllic."
