"The hotel is in an amazing old building in a really nice town. The staff are friendly, and the lobby and restaurant and modern and clean. That's where the positives end. The stairwell and rooms are more like a youth hostel, basic and in need of a serious upgrade. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are awful! Breakfast is very basic, and needs more attention as for most of the time trays were empty and people were waiting around for them to be topped up. The parking areas is small, so...

"The room was clean but whom ever cleaned the room forgot to replenish the coffee cups and coffee pods as the used things from the previous guest was still there. The staff were excellent from our interactions and the room was amazing with the open bathroom. Loved the hotel and will definitely be back."

"No fridge in room. No air conditioning. Holes in the bath towels. Beds not made up.no power point in the bathroom. No phone to contact reception. So many cigarette butts at front entrance. Breakfast was ok. Broken bathroom door. Bed was comfortable.definitely not 4 star."

"There were 2 sides to this hotel....the "Premiere Classe" side was a little like a cell block....long corridor leading to rather depressing room, no carpets in corridor or room, bathroom was one of the 'pre-built' all encompassing plastic jobs that are just slotted into place, complete with creaks and cracks when you move around. The "other" side, where the main reception and restaurant was, looked more appealing with carpeted, wider hallways, so I guess the rooms were better too? The...
