Whilst decor is a little dated the room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. It was nice to have a decent sized bathroom! We had an exec double as we had our daughter with us and there was plenty of room for us all. Breakfast was excellent quality and good choice - we ate in The Place. All the staff were excellent and very helpful. We would definitely use again as the location was great for the town and also getting out and about.

We only had 1 night stay and it was great. The building has history and character just like Harrogate itself. Check-in was very quick, we had a parking space reserved which was brilliant. The room we had was on the 2nd floor and was adequate for our needs a double bed which was comfy. The amenities for coffee/tea including biscuits was good. The bathroom had a shower over the bath with toiletries in bottles on the wall. Plenty of towels. Good size all round even when it was listed as a cosy double when booking. The breakfast was good value with a fantastic choice of hot/cold buffet with cooked to order eggs of your choice. Overall definitely would return. Good value for a visit.
