"Unfortunately got placed in a room on the second floor, the same level and next to the gym. I got a really poor sleep as all you can hear into the night/early hours is dropping of weights from the gym. Hotel would be great if you’re on another floor. It’s got a cool sports bar, decent gym and modern rooms. Ask for a room away from the gym and it’d be good! "

"Such a gorgeous hotel! The staff were really friendly from before we had even arrived - we were lucky enough to also get a parking space at the hotel. Once we checked in, we had also arrived to our room being decorated for our anniversary which made it really special. We had an amazing stay - the location was really central to everything in town and the breakfast couldn’t have been better (fresh eggs however you would like them and tea/coffee!!) The buffet is also updated often which was amazing to see and tasted amazing. Overall, we had the most wonderful time celebrating our anniversary here and would absolutely return!"

"We treated ourselves to a two night stay, a chance to relax after a period spent dealing with serious health issues. The lady on reception was very pleasant and helpful and remembered our names throughout the stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, everything you'd hope it would be. We didn't use the spa facilities, but the pool and jacuzzi area was good, and very quiet at around three to four o'clock. Night one we ate in the Thai restaurant; food, service and atmosphere all good. Second night we were in the Cambium restaurant, which doubles as the breakfast room. The menu was quite restricted, and we should have asked for, or been offered, the all day menu, which is more extensive. But the meal we had was fine. Breakfast is a free buffet, or a paid for cooked option. We tried both, no complaints. This is not a cheap hotel, but the prices for additional food and drinks was not excessive. A couple of G and T's was £16.60, which I thought was reasonable. The hotel is ideally situated for access to the New Forest, Lymington, Lyndhurst, Beaulieu and the coast, even the Isle of Wight. Finally, a shout out to the hotel staff. Even the younger ones were, without exception, friendly, polite, and helpful, and made us feel like valued customers. We will stay here again I hope, and there is even a loyalty card, offering the chance of a free one night stay with breakfast! "
