"Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller."

"Very aesthetically pleasing hotel and room. Only downers were that the bar and restaurant were closed for a function. The room was nice and well sized. Would have been good to have had more bottles of water (just 1 small provided) room was very hot with no fan/AC and the road noise was awful, not a very good night sleep."

"The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly when required. The room was a really good size. However, the rooms are in need of some serious updating! We had 2 plug sockets in our bedroom which were on the other side of the room. The balcony was filthy, leaves twigs etc all over the floor. The balcony railings were also a mess, covered in spiders and the chairs provided were dirty. The restaurant is lovely, clean and modern however, the actual hotel needs a full renovation and the place has so...

"This feels like a motel, with a mediocre pub attached, which was ok as I was just wanting a bed for the night. The room was spacious but wasn’t as clean as you’d expect, Doors were banging through the night didn’t help sleep! I ate at the pub. The food was poor value really, even though my expectations were not high. When the dish arrived half the advertised ingredients had been forgotten so had to ask the staff to try again."
