"Budget hotel, and I would stay again.
My experience was thus:
Pros:
Cheap (cheapest room around)
Quiet (no one bothered me)
Cold (the air conditioning worked great; stayed cool in very hot summer days)
Location (walking distance to a Target, a sporting goods store, a steakhouse etc. It's not a sketchy area) Downtown Keene is just 5 minutes away. There are rotaries which you will likely have to drive through to get back and forth. The hotel price may attract ill-reputes, but everyone i saw...
"The check-in was fine, though hard to understand the person behind the counter. There was a door open at the end of the first floor hallway that led outside. this was Saturday and it was open all day. We said something about it and the guy said something to the effect of, it might be a worker. Nobody was working on the place Saturday afternoon, we checked.
Our room was ok. the little sofa in there looked to have never been cleaned. something of the looks of blood was on the arm and cushion of...
"The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works.
Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...
