"Fantastic Beach - Did not utilize the spa"

"Older time share property at a reasonable cost. If you are traveling with family (including kids), the property can’t be beat at this price point. It is within 5 mins from town. Love the multiple pools, BBQ laundry in unit plus and large living space each apartment. Downside is that the unit are definitely on the older side with hard towels. Oh and there are the roosters that wakes you up started before 5AM. Ear plugs are a must if you are a light sleeper or still surviving jet legs. "

"We were surprised to learn that we ended up at a time share resort. The listing had the word “aparthotel” in small print which is the code for understanding that this isn’t a standard hotel arrangement. Our suite was OK but pretty blah. A second disappointment was that we were put in an accessible suite which meant that the bathroom was unpleasant. And while there is a good restaurant on the property it doesn’t serve breakfast so you need to buy food at their little market or the local grocery store which was recovering from a problem with their refrigeration system. The resort location is close to several great beaches and Hanelei is a prime area to explore. And once we adjusted to the timeshare mode our stay was pleasant. "

"This was our first time to visit the island of Kaua'i. I had spent tireless hours researching, reading reviews, making decision after decision while hoping it would all pay off. This trip was our extravagant Christmas gift to our 4 children- 3 of whom are adults. I'm happy to report that choosing this home and communicating with Ben, our host, was indeed magical. From beginning to end we felt cared for and comfortable. We were grateful to have the AC units as "insurance" if the weather was unbearably warm. We ran it for only short spurts 2x in our 10 days as we endeavored to be mindful of the cost of running it. It cooled the space quickly and effectively. We are a family of cooks so we thoroughly used and enjoyed the kitchen. Having comfortable seating throughout the living room and lanai was important to me and these spaces fulfilled my hopes for facilitating family hang time. I also wanted each person to be thrilled with their sleeping space- no one complained! Everyone was comfortable and happy. We were even able to include my big sister, who celebrated her birthday while there, and she got to enjoy her own little get-a-way in the downstairs primary suite. If we get to return to this magical island, I hope to stay here again in this magical, well-equipped home."

"We were so happy with this home! It was even more beautiful than the pictures online. It is located in a quiet, pretty neighborhood near a golf course. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any needs we had. The home was very well equipped including the kitchen, yard and pool toys, bikes, scooters, balls, beach chairs etc. We had a large group and felt we could all be together in the main living area comfortably. The decor and bedding was very well done and comfortable. The pool and hot tub gave us a nice break from the beach. The entire backyard is set up for enjoyment. The cutest bar area with a surf board counter and swings for seats was perfect! Lots of seating and places to relax and enjoy the view! A big grass area beyond the backyard made it feel open and spacious! The bedrooms are small but very comfortable and the A/C units made it cool right down on some of the hotter nights. We also loved the gym attached to the garage. It had a little of everything we needed. This was a very well priced house, we got so much a very reasonable rate. We even used the basketball court around the corner most days. I highly recommend this home and this host! "
