"We checked in and our first room was visibly dirty. I asked for housekeeping to come address the issues and was informed that housekeeping was not available until the following morning. I asked for a new room and was given one, but it was only slightly better than the first. We ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. "We had a relaxing stay at the Blue Heron. They have a nice breakfast in a cute breakfast area. The dockside bar and restaurant was very good and convenient with excellent service. We also tried out the onsite steakhouse (T-bones), great food and drinks. One of the best things about our stay was the view from our balcony. We had an upper floor facing the lake. "We were assigned Room 101. Unfortunately, it was not clean. We found several cigarette butts under the bed, which was especially concerning since we were traveling with our toddler. We had expected a clean, non-smoking room. On a positive note, the management was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing."
