"This was our second stay at Fare Oaoa and we couldn’t be happier. Kathy and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful & the property is beautiful. The A/C works perfectly well, you just have to have the patio door closed.. which is a smart feature. The pool was perfect and the complimentary use kayaks & snorkel gear is a wonderful touch. And don’t get me started on the breakfast…. generous portions of fresh local fruits, delicious breads & cheese, yogurts, protein variations of egg omelettes or...

"It is very difficult to walk to and from the airport. There are no sidewalks. Taxi service is is available but high price for only a 3 mile ride. Hotel should offer a van service to its guests."

Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"The staff was so helpful and so patient with all of our questions. Room was available early (we got off a cruise ship). The room was very comfortable and very clean. We didn't stay overnight (our outgoing flight was at midnight) and the staff called a taxi for us to arrive at 9:00 p.m. (after they left for the day). Taxi was there promptly. Hotel was within walking distance to various restaurants and the beach. Pool was very clean and inviting. We would definitely recommend this place!"

"Although quite expensive, this hotel is clean and modern, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. IMO it is the perfect hotel to stay at before taking a flight from, or after arriving on a flight in, Pape'ete (Tahiti). "

Room had plenty of space, air conditioning worked well, beach towels for water activities. And a central living room and kitchen with spectacular sunset views and relaxing chairs to lounge. "The views were awesome, we had bungalow 1 right by the water. The cleaning staff was great ! I would stay here again. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, so we were able to have breakfast and lunch at our room. Book the restaurants nearby ahead of time, it is not always possible to get reservations or get into some places."
