"The checkin was well communicated via email and totally virtual. We had no interaction with any staff. The room was nice but, despite a sign on the bathroom door, a very small step from the bedroom to the bathroom resulted in painful toes as both my wife and I stubbed them on the step. We were in the ‘Deer’ room which is on the third floor. Carrying our luggage up three staircases and narrow corridors was very difficult - there is no lift! "My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."
