Top Gunnerton Hotel Reviews
Langley Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful stay. All of the staff was a pleasure to talk with. We stayed in the tower suit on the fifth and top floor. Be aware there is no elevator but they do have a small lift for your suitcase and staff can bring up for you. The lounge and bar area was beautiful to sit in. We also had dinner at the castle and it was fantastic. the chef prepared us some extra dishes that were delicious we felt like we were treated like royalty. At 1015 every day they do a tour of the castle and talk about the history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept it fun and light hearted. The grounds also has peacocks we had a fun time walking around looking for them. Over all it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it."
Bay Horse Inn - B&B

The Angel of Corbridge Limited
8/10 Good
"Large pub, nice bar/dining room, good decor, parking very handy, eleven rooms, we had a nice large twin bedroom, main road facing little noise good shower, toilet had poor flush, beds comfortable, wardrobe had a extra duvet which smell very badly of sick, i give it to the cleaner then open the windows not to bad after that. Nice setup for breakfast full breakfast not big but enough, staff very friendly. Pub very central for the town and surrounding areas, we were there for the weekend and went out on the Saturday night and found the eight or so pubs in the village were dead"
The George Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The George was the perfect stay for our holiday - the views of the river were especially stunning."
Le Petit Chateau & William de Percy
8/10 Good
"Excellent stay when here for an evening wedding party. Booked a meal ( only had 1 course) for before party, which was excellent, very good service too. Drink prices quite high, but I suppose should be expected as is a wedding venue. Breakfast was nice, but had to ask for extra coffee( for 4) twice before getting. Also had to ask for toast as not offered when taking food orders. Poor selection of fruit available and no Greek yogurt even though on menu. For breakfast servings, May I suggest that you offer filtered coffee instead of that from a commercial coffee machine, which would save time . Would certainly stay again should another wedding invitation, for the venue, be received."
The Wheatsheaf Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great little get away, perfect for what we wanted and breakfast was delicious."
Battlesteads Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay for two nights at Battlesteads. Two things really stood out - the food was excellent (except chips - a minor thing), and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming without being overbearing. The last point, about how all staff were nice to interact with, was a major selling point and is why we will return. A special shout out to Dan ("Dan, Dan, the beverage man") for being so helpful and recommending Flyte - a top tip! Ad Gefrin sold two bottles to us as a result! Such a pleasant time, great food, and drink, and an impressive walking guide (which we used) and an observatory on the door step!"
Anchor Hotel

"Lovely stay and a lovely place."
The Coach House

"Set in beautiful surroundings, full of birds, deer and red squirrels. Room was pleasant, clean and spacious. Lovely friendly gentleman looked after us and gave us great information about the local area. Very peaceful place to stay, great value for money and would definitely stay again"
