"The photos do not do the setting of this charming property justice. It sits on an outcrop behind the wonderful walled town of Barga enjoying 360 degree views. The thick walls of the building keep the temperature reasonable and the house has all the needed amenities. With the vibrant town just minutes away and so many beautiful hidden towns in the area there is more to do that we could possibly fit in. Oh, and the food and wine…"

"Excellent stay and quite spacious! Rita was an amazing host, and her breakfast was quite filling. I’ll be going back for a cooking class! This location is also very quiet and private, which I appreciated."

"Sehr sauberes Unterkunft, super netter Vermieter und toller Pool in einem sehr schönen Garten.Einen von uns verursachten technischen Defekt hat der Vermieter umgehend beseitigt.Die Garfagnana hat einen ganz anderen Charakter als die südliche Toskana: Berge mit sehr viel Wald und urige kleine Bergdörfer in der Umgebung (Barga, Catilignano ...). Leider war es mit 34 - 38 Grad für Wanderungen viel zu heiß, aber dafür hatten wir ja den Pool."
