"I've stayed at park plaza many times over the years, and it is always excellent - especially the support from staff. In the past year or so, the car parking has changed, and instead of paying direct to the hotel, payment has to be completed via a 3rd party machine or app. This is not at all user friendly, and it was only with the help of the super staff that we got it working properly. Even then, despite having paid fully, I found on multiple occasions that the barrier did not open automatically as it should when exiting, and I had to return to reception to enlist the help of the staff again."

"Top quality hotel located in the middle of the town within easy walking distance of everything. The staff were extremely helpful letting me leave my bike and bags well before check in time. There is secure locked cycle storage. Amazing breakfast with huge choice. I only spent one night here but would have liked to stay longer."
