"NEVER again. The hotel did not have the room I reserved. They tried to switch me to another room without the amenities I needed. The front desk staff simply said, "We don't have the room available that you booked." The staff seemed unconcerned about addressing the reservation problem and finally offered to cancel the reservation. I arrived around 5 pm, with two young children and was faced with the possibility of no place to sleep for the night. The hotel staff did not offer to help me find...
"Upstairs bedroom had no bathroom so navigating stairs in middle of night was not for us. It was very nicely decorated and it had everything that was needed. Perhaps a bit outdated. A good outside cabin raking and blowing to clear all the pine needles would be a nice touch.
Bed was very comfortable.
Very cool historic enclave just a half mile from cabins was fun. The rest There had incredible steaks."
"The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, A/C worked great, contained a decent sized fridge and a microwave.
Only complaint was the free breakfast (6AM-9AM) only being cereal and waffles.
There was also a $250 deposit on top of the room cost, but it was released after check out."
