Great Chateau

What a great place! Roomy, comfortable, clean, very well stocked kuchen, enough linens, lots of charm. We didn't know that your share walks with the ownersbut you never felt it. There is camping on the property but it is not in your way. I would stay there again.

Not what I expected from the website information about the property (including some info from customer reviews which I appreciate are not the direct responsibility or input of the owners), although it turned out to be fine/ok as the base for our family vacation.A few key areas where there were gaps between expectations and reality:1) The main picture of the house on the website is quite misleading as most of what is in that photo is the home of the owners not the part of the building that has been divided off for guests.2) The property is advertised as a 5 bedroom house, but actually 2 of the bedrooms are in a separate annex across a small yard from the main part of the house. 3) A number of the reviews refer to how well equipped and comfortable the house is with top of the range amenities. While there's a large quantity of crockery/cutlery in line with the huge inside dining table that looks more set up for hosting party events than a family dinner, the quality all-round is very ordinary. The kitchen is very small with no proper oven (just a small portable), a hob with just 3 rings, normal utensils, but knives all totally blunt. Cooking for 6-8 adults was a grind.Living area is large, but has hard, uncomfortable seats/sofas for max 6 people. Bedrooms are fine, but bathrooms quite old/tired and one stank of chlorine all week. All ok, but much more basic/rustic than many of the reviews suggested.

Beau gite rural ,confortable, bien équipé Environnement idéal pour les enfants . Très bon accueil.

En week end familial ,nous étions avec trois enfants très contents de découvrir la ferme à proximité et les grands espaces pour courir .Disponibilité et gentillesse de notre hôtesse .Le gite est très confortable , bien organisé pour que chaque chambre soit tranquille ,bien insonorisé.Bon équipement général.

La bâtisse est tout simplement superbe Tout est prévu pour que le séjour soit parfait Emplacement au top Les propriétaires sont d une extrême gentillesse et très professionnelles Nous avions besoin d un peu plus de chauffage, ils n ont pas hésité à venir un samedi soir à 22h00 pour augmenter la chaudière Je recommande vivement cette location

Un séjour très agréable

Corinne et Joël sont des hôtes charmants. La maison est spacieuse et très agréable. Le fait que la piscine soit séparée de la maison est un plus de sécurité avec des enfants en bas âge. La région regorge de trésors de visites de jolis villages, de randonnées. on y mange très bien et à des prix raisonnables. Nous avons passé 2 excellentes semaines

Une bulle de bonheur

Nous sommes venus entre amis profiter d'un weekend au domaine de la distaise et tout fut parfait. L'accueil (aussi bien au gîte qu'à la boutique de produits régionaux) était très chaleureux et convivial. Le plaisir de faire partager les produits de qualité accompagné d'une bienveillance constante vis à vis de notre groupe d'amis ont contribué a sublimer notre séjour. Gîte conforme en tout point à la description faite. Un grand MERCI à Corinne et Joël. Sans eux notre weekend n'aurait pas été aussi réussi. Nous reviendrons c'est certain. Jean-Philippe

Nous avons séjourné dans le gîte pour 10 personnes. Gîte très spacieux et tres agréable. Chacun y trouve sa place. Très bien équipé. Tranquillité assurée. Les chiens sont les bienvenus et peuvent se rafraîchir dans la Drôme au pied du domaine. Tout est prévu pour passer un agréable séjour. Propriétaires accueillants. A recommander 😉
