"Amazing accommodation. D’Autor village is a beautiful property composed of several small villas, with a great pool that overlooks the valley. Please is spotless, with great hospitality and very nice staff that is always there to help and answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Property is located in the Vinho verde region so expect some travelling if you’d like to visit the Douro valley."

"The check-in left me at the gate for 1.5 hours when the key code was not working. It took a while to reach someone on the contact numbers. On day 2 the key code for the main house was not working. It took even longer to get someone on the phone but they were unable to get assistance for 3 hours. I was between the door and my car for 3.45 hours. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees This ruined what would have been a good stay."

"Incredible location in the mountains. Breakfast of bread, cheese, meat, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and other simple items included every morning. The property is a cat sanctuary as well, though they all remain outside and are extremely friendly! We woke up to the sounds of bells on goats/cows every morning roaming in the mountains. Our most memorable stay ever."
