Beachside getaway

We stayed in a 2 storey house with the kitchen, lounge dining @ bathroom areas 2 bedrooms upstairs.Kitchen had everything we needed, everything was nice and clean inside, linen was lovely and fresh. It was an older style home but very comfortable. We walked to the beach. Area was very quiet. Close drive to shops.If you have an older person staying theyd need to manage the stairs as thats where kitchen and living area is. Our hosts were very helpful, thanks Christine.

good house for large family

Good house but it needs a bit of TLC, access is also a problem with sandy gravel all round. I twisted my ankle stepping off the rear deck onto uneven pavers. That should be sorted

Had a great time staying in this holiday home. It is very clean, well maintained and close to the beach. I highly recommend a holiday at this home. A small slice of heaven.

Excellent summer escape

This property was exactly what we needed for a week away from the city. Plenty of room for our family and pet dog. Everyone enjoyed the games room with pool table and table tennis setup in the shed. There was even enough room for friends to visit us for the weekend. Loved our stay and are already discussing going back next year.

Relaxing Family Break

Perfect accommodation for our family to enjoy some downtime over the holidays. Multiple and comfortable living spaces, quiet neighbourhood, fabulous backyard if you have a dog or small children, 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Thanks so much for sharing your home - we will be back !

Great Family Holiday

Really enjoyed the laid-back vibe, clean and comfortable, not as modern as some but quite charming and perfect for us. A big bonus was the great range of activities provided. Highly recommended

Affordable accommodation that's only a short walk from the beach

Comfortable accommodation for families. Plenty of room to find your own space. Can accomodate 6 well, but only 8 if the extra 2 are small children, as the fourth bedroom can only be accessed via the third bedroom. The house is quite dated but the kitchen is relatively new. The only aircon unit is in the upstairs open plan living/lounge/kitchen area. This worked fine for most days, but we had 2 days above 35C and it was then uncomfortable everywhere else in the house, e.g. bedrooms and downstairs. That being said, we will certainly be considering a return visit, just not right in the middle of summer.

Fun family vacation

We just stayed 5 nights with 4 teenagers and 2 adults. We all loved the pool table, table tennis table, dart board and bikes. They also had boardgames cards and wifi. It was great being able to take our dog too. The house was a bit rustic but clean. Kitchen has been upgraded. When we arrived we found the owners had supplied us with bread, milk, butter, orange juice and chocolates. The bathrooms had fresh boxes dove soap which was a nice touch. We texted the owner with a question furing our stay and she rang straight away. We all loved our stay, would recommend staying there, especially with kids. Thank you.

Away from the city buzz

A good place. Suitable for group of up to 8 (maybe 9 if someone sleeps on the couch). Despite noisy neighbours, we had a nice weekend away.

Relaxing getaway house
