Had a great few days here using it as a launch pad for daily hiking around the area! Very comfortable space. Appreciate the well stocked kitchen to facilitate easy cooking without having to worry about missing a special utensil.

Great location. At the end of the street and has a trail to river access. Only thing is that it’s right by the road and railroad. So it can get loud but the river sounds covers it.

Great place to stay! Heated floor was terrific! Only complaint is the way house cleaning put trash bag in can... could not get the bag out without tearing a hole in bag.. so i left it there!.. sorry. Would love to stay again if im up there again

The cabin was well stocked, clean, and decorated with whimsical woodsy items. The view was unbelievable. We watched several fisherman pull in their catch right at the bend of the river. The hot tub was perfect in the cool, crisp air. We enjoyed every minute, and highly recommend!! We will be back.

A friend and I stayed here three nights in early November and had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin is very well stocked and comfortably laid out. Lots of cute decorative details; comfy beds; stone gas fireplace; lots of movies; heated floors; and the view can't be beat. The cabin faces the river so it's visible from the deck and from inside the cabin. We saw eagles and lots of kayakers and fisher-people. Trains do roll by but they weren't bothersome to us at all. The river and rapids in front are the only sounds we really heard. It's at the end of a road so nice and private. We didn't use the hot tub, but it's up a few stairs so the view from the tub must be grand. Hopefully we'll get to come back to stay another time.

Cabin was cozy and had all the essentials we needed for comfort and for cooking our own meals! Hot tub was awesome coupled with the sound of the River and the beautiful view!
Our only drawback was parking! It’s located outside of the fenced property, on the street in a culd a sac. We found that the culd a sac is a frequent hangout spot for people loitering in their cars with their base blaring, especially evenings! We would have preferred off street parking! It would have created a sense of security for our vehicle!
Other than that we enjoyed our visit! Thank you for sharing your happy place with us😊

For being only 40 mins from home, this felt like we were much further away then we were. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful little river cabin. The picture windows with full view of the river was amazing. The cabin with very clean, had everything we needed to be comfortably: cooking supplies, coffee maker, towels, robes, games, puzzles, movies.... everything. We loved watching the fly fishers out every morning as we drank our coffee from the living room. Very close to the Wallace Falls Trail head, which is a beautiful hike. Though it rained all weekend, the places whole vibe made it a relaxing and beautiful weekend. Hang out in the hot tub while the rain pours down on the roof above or cuddle up on the couch inside with a good book. Perfection.
The only criticism: in the VRBO listing, there was no mention i could see about the train tracks and potential for noise. The tracks are quite literally behind the home, not to mention, so it HWY 2. Now, it wasn't as bothersome as it could have been, rhe river was louder. However, it wasn't until after we booked that the property management let us know the details. This should be disclosed prior to guests making decisions so their better educated on their decision. I would have appreciated these details up front. This is my opinion.
All in all, with everything said, I would still reccomend this as a weekend getaway. It was pretty awesome.
