4/10
When we arrived at our room oddly there were 4 pools of water on the room floor: by the door, in front of the tv and two between the beds. The front desk had no explanation for why, didn’t even offer to come clean them up. We mopped them up with the bath towel/mat. The corners of the room were dingy with crud stuck under the floor molding, especially in the bathroom. There were splash stains on the floor molding under the counter. Water pressure was a trickle. The contraption to turn on the shower/tub faucet was old and in need of replacement. The faucet needed to be jiggled to have any hope of getting luke-warm water to appear. I still find it annoying when I have to ask for fresh linens even though I paid for multiple nights. The COVID pandemic is over. The resort does post they refresh rooms once every three nights…not mentioned on Expedia’s booking website that I could find. Overall, this place probably was a resort of quality decades ago but now it’s tired looking, dirty in places and somewhat falling apart. By the way: we had to pay a $35 per night resort fee which you also pay taxes on; a $20 incidental fee (we were told will “drop off.” And we have a mysterious $50 charge from them that we will have to call about.
