Great place!!

We greatly enjoyed our overnight stay. This place has a quiet location that has easy access to nearby activities/businesses. The stocked kitchen is definitely a bonus for travelers, as it really helped that we didn’t need to stop and pick up anything for breakfast or to drink. The place is tastefully decorated and comfortable. Highly recommend!! Would definitely stay again if we need lodging in the area.

I wish I could keep this a secret

This place was amazing! The decor is beautiful down to every last detail. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. The well stocked kitchen was such a delight for our family. We will 100% stay here again, if we can find an opening!

GREAT PLACE IF YOU HAVE DOGS

tony kept us well informed on the area and what to do and whats expected, fenced in back yard for pouches. Very clean, beautiful sunrise. When in area again , will be our 1st pick to stay again.

Our stay at High Banks exceeded our expectations! The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. Immaculately clean. Plenty of room for us & our 4 legged family members. Everything we could need and then some. Our host Tony was very friendly and thoughtful. Wish we'd had more than 1 night here!

Enjoyed every minute! Ideal yard for the furry child to be off leash. Dog treats included! Kitchen is very well stocked for breakfast. Comfy bed.

So many unique and personal touches

We had a great stay! We came up for the MISH Experience triathlon. This house was a perfect location, had a nice view of the lake across the street and a large backyard for an evening bonfire after a tough race. Tony was really thoughtful about so many things with this house. We look forward to staying here for the race next year.

Awesome space and best host communication!

We loved this space and all of the unique and quirky touches. It was super clean, spacious and the breakfast part was above and beyond. Tony was the best and proactive communicator and answered any questions we had. He really thought of everything. Thanks so much, Tony!

Top notch

We stayed here one night only but wished we could move in!!! A lot of love and care was put into this beautifully updated lakeside place. We had anything and everything we could possibly need including handy bicycles to get around and a well stocked Kitchen for breakfast! The four of us friends have stayed in many VRBO’s and this one is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed. Thank you Tony for a great experience on the last evening of our trip.

It's everything that's promised and more

My family came stayed for 5 nights on our U.P. vacation. The house has so much character and is decorated so thoughtfully with meaningful pieces explained in a book that is in the house. When Tony says there is a fully stocked kitchen, he's not kidding. It was beyond our expectations. The house was clean and comfortable. It also has a great location. We rode the vintage bikes north to the park one night and walked to the ice cream parlor another time. The view from the deck never got old. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It helped make for a very enjoyable vacation. Tony is a terrific host.

Great place in MI

Had a great stay, dogs loved having a fenced in back yard to run around in and sunning on the deck. Great view of Lake Michigan. It was in a convenient location and within driving distance to many places.

We had a great stay. We were excited to stay as this home was owned by our family in the late 1950’s. The yard is huge for our dogs. Tony had everything you could need. I have rented many homes over the years and this was the best stocked. He even had dog dishes.

Great property, very thoughtfully furnished. Kitchen wonderfully stocked with a lot of breakfast items including farm fresh eggs and sausages, which we enjoyed. Lots of helpful information about the house and nearby attractions. Only downside is the lack of a second shower stall, which could be inconvenient for a large family.
