"Comfortable beds, and a good location. Check in and out was easy. We had a room with a spa, but it was just an outdoor bath that looked like a spa, and it was all cracked and dated. Had to fill it ourselves on arrival. The door to the spa area also leaked alot with the rain we had during our stay. If you are after a quiet stay, I would recommend an upstairs room as its quite noisy in the downstairs rooms. Overall not a bad place to stay, but not sure if we will be back."

"Overall a charming property with a very spacious room at a good rate. A/C and heating both worked very well. Great location right within walking distance to main dining and shopping area. Couple things to note is there is no elevator at the property but staff was able to assist with bringing luggage up. It is also private entrance to the rooms, like motel style"

"It's not what I was expecting. The pictures we saw on expedia was very misleading. Around 750 we paid for two nights . We got moldy smelly cupboards two little portable heaters . Moldy curtains .The room was very cold, old looking . We traveled with 3 kids and I didn't feel it was very hygienic. Atleast a heat pump would've been ideal in this winter time . I would've loved a little bottle of milk to start of with as I am a coffee lover . No spa as I was told it has one . We requested for a...

"Staff were great. Amenities were shown to us personally. The room was lovely. Dinner was fantastic and the breakfast before leaving topped off our stay perfectly. The grounds are amazing with great views of lake Rotorua. Very intimate hotel."
