This is an incredible hotel with tons of amenities and extremely helpful staff. We have traveled to many countries and this hotel staff wins the gold medal for hospitality! They helped with every aspect of our travel and stay. We are a party of 6 with 3 river view rooms and they were all comfortable; and the onsen was spotless and enjoyable. You can also get free bikes to ride around the river with brand new paths and meander the city streets. I will certainly come back to Juhachiro again one day because of the sweet and kind staff.

Lovely place to relax

Truly beautiful hotel! Room was beautiful and spacious, halls were beautifully decorated with china and burning incense, and the onsen facilities were lovely. Meals were also excellent.

Awesome! The place to come back:).

I booked a plan with breakfast. The hotel staffs were very friendly and above average. The atmosphere of Inn was very classy traditional Spa(onsen) so I was able to relax. The Spa was wonderful. I love to come back and hope to rent a bike next time.

Juhachiro exceeds the expectations of a stay at a ryokan. Both the common areas and rooms were the perfect stylish intersection of modern and traditional. The board meal was exceptional, and the private balcony tub was the cherry on top of our stay. Maybe next time I'll be brave enough to try the public onsen!

Amazing!

AMAZING! Such great service and hospitality. Front desk workers are so helpful and kind, considering we don't speak the language. The room was extremely clean and the view was beautiful. They have yukata to wear and tea provided. It is also right next the comerant fishing, so that's why we chose this place. Overall worth it in every way. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!

A very Japanese style stay, this is an old place but well maintained, the view in front of the river is very pretty. Very close to walk to the Gifu Park. Staff was super friendly and very welcoming, I wasn’t able to use the onsen. I honestly would not have paid so much for staying there, the hotel smell is peculiar maybe like old place/ maybe was the wood.
