"Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. "The hotel consists of beautifully restored stone buildings in the centre of a vineyard. It’s a small hotel with more people probably visiting to do winetasting and use the restaurant and host events than staying overnight. Food was excellent and the views, the pool and the Rooms all lovely. The two rooms we had, with terraces, were a modern conversion of a separate building, but in my view probably still the most spacious and comfortable. Other rooms just as nicely decorated, but not as roomy....
