Da un hotel a 4 stelle mi aspetterei che la caffetteria venisse preparata dal bar e non dalla macchina del caffe. Per il resto bella la camera e anche il terrazzino vista lago

Das Abendessen im Rahmen der Halbpension ist super, als 4-Gänge Menü sind die Portionen aber pro Gang zu groß. Dieses HP-Menü ist aber nicht unbedingt für Kinder geeignet. Auch nach Rückfrage beim Personal ob für Kinder nicht etwas anderes, einfacheres bekommen könnten, wurde dies verneint. Pool und alle Außenanlagen sehr gepflegt.

What a beautiful place, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, facilities were very good and it is a fabulous location, quiet, nothing much around if you want night life, but we didn't - so perfect.

Il plus è sicuramente la posizione in riva al lago. Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera con terrazza, con vista fantastica. Curato e ordinato negli interni, meravigliosi gli esterni con piscina e spiaggia privata.C'è la possibilità di noleggiare la vespa o il motoscafo

Super placering ned til søen

Super placering helt nede ved søen. Maden er ikke noget at skrive hjem om, så spis i de nærmeste byer, hvor der er massere af gode og hyggelige restauranter. Morgenmaden er udemærket. Der er en lækker privat strand med liggestole og parasoller til alle og en god pool. Hotellet er efter italiensk standard til den pæne side, men efter nordisk standard lidt slidt og tungt i stilen. Placeringen og den private strand gør dog hotellet et besøg værd. Små fine øer kan nås med færge og er et besøg værd.

Sehr gute Parkplätze und schönes Schwimmbecken. Tolle Aussicht vom Hotelzimmer zum See. Schön angelegter Strand und Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Würde das gleiche Hotel wieder buchen.

Room with a view

Det bliver svært st finde et hotel med en smukkere udsigt og med egen terrasse får man den fulde nydelse. Hotellet er gammelt og klassisk med de fordele og ulemper det nu afføder, f.eks skal man have kikkert med hvis man vil se flimse fra sengen (men hvem fa’en spilder tiden med italiensk tv?). Lige overfor ligger en fiskerestaurant og 150m nede ad vejen ligger et glimrende pizzaria. Hotellets restaurant er nu også ok. 100m fra hotellet går færgen rundt på søen hvorfra man kan besøge blandt andet søens tre smukke øer. Isola Bella er klart et godt valg.

4 nights at Hotel Ghiffa

We loved the hotels lakeside location and pool area. In addition the breakfast terrace and restaurant service was excellent with stunning views across Lake Maggiore. Our room on the 2nd floor was disappointingly small and we experienced some minor faults which could have been easily avoided including flat batteries in the safety deposit box and air conditioning controller. On our penultimate day the electricity to the room failed which the staff dealt with efficiently by upgrading us to a much better room on the 4th floor. If only we had this room first.

Loistava sijainti ja yllättävän hyvä ruoka

Hotellin sijainti järven rannalla sekä huoneiden koko, siisteys ja oma parveke olivat positiivista. Huoneessa käytetty voimakas hajuste lannisti ensin allergista mutta onneksi se hieman hälveni kun respa laittoi ilmastoinnin päälle. Hotellin omassa ravintolassa yllättävän hyvä ruoka.

Meget spændende gammeldags hotels med fantastisk beliggenhed direkte til Lago Maggiore. Atmosfære og stil som for 100 år siden og god restaurant med udsigt og beliggenhed direkte til søen. Værelserne er det eneste der trækker lidt ned - en smule gammeldags, men fungere upåklageligt.

Sehr schön, super Lage am See. Parkplatz wird in der Nacht abgeschlossen. Sehr nettes Personal, Abendessen und Frühstück auf der Terasse. Sehr empfehlenswert!
