"The room was clean but the bathroom is in need of a rehab. Looks to be all original fixtures and tile. Really showing its age. On our last night there, I ask at the front desk how much they would charge me for their cheap little plastic ice bucket. I needed to transport a few things ho.e that needed to be kept cold and did not have a cooler with me. I didn't want to just take it so I asked. The evening desk worker had no idea and called assistant manager who also couldn't answer and said they would need to check with the manager. We left at 7 AM the next morning without ever receiving an answer so I had to make due with some small bags with ice in them. I'm sure that if I would have stolen the bucket they would have come up with a cost quickly to charge my account! Over all the lodge was very quiet but the whole building is in need of updates."

"My girlfriend and I stayed at this property during our trip around North Georgia, and we had a wonderful experience! The location was very convenient for exploring nearby attractions such as Helen, Brasstown Bald, and Blood Mountain. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the cozy bed-and-breakfast atmosphere and the breakfast provided. Having access to a bathtub and sauna was also a great bonus, especially for relaxing after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to explore North Georgia!"

"We loved the ability to gather in the main house for family meals, yet have the cottage too. The cottage allowed two of our adult married children a quiet place to sleep when the grandchildren were up with the sun in the main house. We made most of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Ingle’s was close. The house, porches, and dock area were all very clean and the yard was well kept. Provided kayaks were great for exploring the lake. We brought a large boat and docked there easily even though the lake was low. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We made great family memories here with lots of fun and laughter in a relaxing home.Photos are of a morning view from the dock and afternoon kayaking in the cove near the dock."
