Location of the property is good. Proximity to lots of eateries and a good street. Free parking is also a plus.While we observed the staff are trying hard to maintain the place, some of the infrastructure are really old. The toilet and shower desperately needs updating. Drinking water is only supplied by a dispenser located in the common corridor.

will come back again

the room is ecxellent. same as in picture. big room. have flusk for hot water. they provide coway water dispenser at the hallway. easy for customer. my room a little bit near road so can hear noise from the road until late night. but the most i dont like about my stay is around 12.30am some chinese teenager was going back to their room and the talk and laugh loud, can hear their footstep, open and close door so hard. i cant sleep until 2.30 in the morning. and around 8am people already start coming out from room. chatting along the hallway. disturbing my sleep. can hear the housekeeping push the bin. i have to wake up early because of that. not a pleasent stay for me because of that but overall, its value for money. maybe next time i go the nobody will disturb my holiday 😆

Great service ＆ arrangement from the manager although there is some inconvenient encounter during the check in. Thank you Mr.Kenny. This hotel definetely a budget hotel and strategic place in Georgetown for stay.

Bad staff & poor WiFi ruined it all!

I would have given this hotel a better review if not for the sulky Chinese lady at the reception. She could see that I already had my hands full with my luggage when I requested for an electric kettle and a hairdryer and yet insisted that I make a second trip to the reception to claim them instead of asking one of the hotel’s staff to help bring it up to my room. Really poor attitude! The other staff were quite friendly though. However, the WiFi connection was pretty bad and really needs to be improved.

I'm not a picky guest. However, the stability of the wifi is really bad. It kept going off on its own every few minutes. Even after telling the staff, its still the same until 12 midnight.

Das Garden Inn ist ein sehr nettes Hotel im Zentrum der Stadt, mit aufmerksamen und entgegenkommenden Mitarbeitern an der Lobby. Die Zimmer sind sauber und für hiesige Verhältnisse groß. Die Umgebung ist gespickt mit Lokalen und der Weg zum Zentrum ist nicht weit.

I just have a comment for this hotel, please not to say at the promo or website or at hotel.com for check-in time are available 24 h, just say the check in time is same like another hotel because as a client, i and my friends confius with the time check in, we arrived early morning but cannot check-in but at the website can check in 24 h.Uncle at the counter just say the time check in are same as another hotel. Besides, a few minutes, Sarah politely, told us the truth, actually, we can check in 24 h, but the room are full. so we have to waited till noon. Ok we accapted it. Although not satisfied with the check in time, the hotel are very nice place to stayed at penang, the room are very clean maybe will choose this place for next holiday because the service quiet good Recomended.
