"Room and Staff were wonderful. Upgrade to a 1br villa was very much appreciated. Cleanliness around the resort grounds was very good. Facilities like pool etc were great and kept the children entertained all weekend. Only disappointment was there were way too many dogs. Your website FAQ page says they are only allowed from mid April to Mid Dec so I felt safe to book in Mid Feb. It made me quite uncomfortable to know there had probably been dogs on the beds and couches. And walking back to my villa at night I was accosted by a free ranging dog with no owner around ( they were upstairs in their Villa with the door shut). The dog stood its ground and barked threateningly at me, before being called back. I do think that the accommodation industry needs to rethink and realise that there are still many people who are not dog obsessed and when paying quite a lot of money for a nice resort, would prefer not to share their holidays and accommodation rooms with other peoples animals. Perhaps split the year into 6 months availability for each? Thanks again for all the good bits though :-)"

"Great location with lots of different kinds of attractions and fun around; good communication for my booking. New, simple but modern cabin providing all we need for our short trip as a family of four having two young kids. Facilities are well set up for outdoor bbq dining and indoor entertainment (though I wished to have a bigger sofa when my kids requested a movie night). If it’s a longer stay I’d prefer more space to keep my clothes and a bigger fridge. Overall, it’s a perfect place for my family; we all had a great time and enjoyable stay at Aravina Escape!"

"A positive - the owner neighbours & dogs were friendly - important as you all share the small lawned garden off your patio. Half the unit block are rented - the holiday unit is in the middle. The accommodation was below standard in relation to the high cost. Understandably it was peak season, & we booked late (September) thereby limiting our options. .Cleanliness - the unit was not well presented and in need of a very serious deep clean. Previous guests /cleaners had left a full dustbin unemptied in the ensuite. A non-smoking property - there was a dirty ashtray on the patio table with cigarette butts in the garden bed & outside the rear (main) entry door. Smoke smell. The carpet was hairy - not vacuumed (the supplied vacuum was weak & useless). Washing machine was good but the private washing area had weeds and old shells and rubbish. The sliding door channels were full of dust preventing the doors from sliding. The bbq was grubby but due to the next guests. Beds & Linnen - the main room bed & pillows were very comfortable. The rear room had 2 mis-matched beds suited to young children - not suitable for adults. The main room bed sheets were stained ( I hope it was in fact clean stains and not re-used sheets). Cleaner should not use stained sheets - the middle of base sheet stains.Kitchen is sufficiently equipped with a mismatch of stuff.1 each bath towels are white fluffy but very small. No hand towel in downstairs toilet. Noise penetration from other units "
