"Room was small and sparse, No front desk staff upon arrival, had to wait 15 min before anyone was able to check us in. No room service without asking. The facility is remote but certainly bikeable to Dwingleoo."

"Exceptional Hotel. Initially I thought it was pushing the boundaries in terms of distance from the Assen Circuit where I was working, however, this was worth it. Communication prior to arrival was reassuring. Plenty of parking. Warm welcome on arrival and all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and had good facilities. Nice and quiet too overlooking fields. The restaurant serves excellent food and is open till 9pm which is somewhat unusual in the Netherlands. I only had breakfast on the day of departure, which was the good, varied continental selection. All in all an excellent, relaxing hotel serving excellent dinner."

"We had a nice stay with our 2 kids (3y & 5y). If is oriented on families/kids and had Some nice playgrounds, games for children. The kids loved the pool. Food was good but normal, which was as expected. The hotel is focused on all-in do it is fine but not exceptional. Room was clean. We had a nice stay!"

"I chose this hotel because it suited my travelling plans. I know a little about the area, people come to cycle and walk through the surrounding forests but I couldn't partake in any activities because I was in transit. The hotel has no lift, thought it shows a restaurant in the description I understood that there wasn't one at least during my stay. I arrived after 21:00hrs and minor confusion existed with the entry system but was sorted quickly. The rooms are big and clean, the beds comfortable, the shower was good. The breakfast was typically continental. Would I return there - yes!"
