"We enjoyed Sugar Bay Resort because it was smaller than other all-inclusive resorts we've visited. It was our 30th anniversary and very relaxing. The staff was very friendly. It is an older facility, however, it suited us fine. Right on the beach, bars were great, food was very ample and a variety at the buffet each meal. The 2 other speciality restaurants were also nice. Small and Cozy Place!"

"I was going to leave a 5 star rating but after my staycation at this hotel I accidentally left my phone charger. I spoke to staff 5 times over a 24 hour period regarding looking to see if the charger was found and every time I called I felt like no one made an effort to look for the charger, I had to give my name and number each time I called as no one would ever call me back with an update. As someone who frequently does staycations with my family throughout the year, this definitely changed my mind from coming back. Just because someone is no longer a guest doesn’t mean you can’t assist them as you don’t know if they will return or recommend others to visit. They are still yet to give me a call back on if the charger was found or not. "

"Omg! Rudest staff at hotel restaurant. Staff ignored you, looked straight at you and just walked away. Rude if you asked them anything almost boarderline hostile. We purposely avoided the restaurant due to staff behavior. There was multiple gueat complaining and we witnessed poor behavior with other guests! Pool closes early around 6 which we kinda new from the reviews. However would be nice to be able to swim later."

"We had an incredible stay at this VRBO in Barbados. The property was extremely clean and well maintained, everything was exactly as described, if not better.Greg was fantastic to work with, very responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process, which made everything seamless from start to finish.And the view… pictures don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person and honestly one of the highlights of the entire trip.This was one of those places you don’t want to leave. We’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Barbados."

"The buffet breakfast was just ok. Options were a bit limited and I thought my omelette had a weird flavour I can’t describe. Not sure if it was the oil or the cheese. Whilst breakfast was included in the stay- the cost was $70 USD for two persons. I thought that was steep considering the limited options. We had drinks and dessert at the bar in the evening- and those were good. We didn’t eat anything else at the property. I thought the rooms were a bit outdated, especially the bathroom, but they were clean- and the bed was comfy. It’s definitely a business hotel because there was no real view to be had as it’s not directly on the main road- perhaps some of the higher floors facing the ocean may have had a view."
